In May 2008, for the first time Helio exhibited in Free Range, "The world's largest art happening" in London.
In Dray Walk Gallery, Helio exhibited works related to social issues, exploring and demonstrating the constrast between
human body parts through photomontage. Giving viewers the opportunity to interact,
allowing them to play with his work and experience a unique, unusual and surreal moment.
Free Range 2008 boasted an incredible 400,000 square foot of dedicated exhibition space and it was set to feature the UK’s leading graduate artists from 30th May until 21st July 2008.
Showcasing the very latest in design, photography, art, and interiors, Free Range is dedicated to providing a National platform for the very best in UK talent. Now in its eighth year, Free Range has become a byword for cutting edge, a reputation that last year saw the event attract a record 150,000 visitors.
Free Range has grown to become one of the world’s largest art fairs, now occupying the historic 11 acre site at the Old Truman Brewery off Brick Lane, centre of London’s creative community. |
